Government works to develop Madsrasa Education: Education Minister

The government is very sincere to develop Madrasa Education, said Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid yesterday, 14 October 2016.

He said this in an anti-militancy rally organized by Bhadeshwar Hafizia Dakhil Madrasah of Goplaganj upazila in the district.

The minister said the government has undertaken a huge initiative for the development of nearly 1,800 madrasas across the country. Present government has already built buildings at over thousand madrasas and made 35 as model madrasas and introduced honors courses at 31.

He said Islamic Arabic University has been established to materialize the longtime demand of Aleam and Olema.

About the militancy, Nahid said there is no room of militancy in Islam but a vested quarter is out to create instability in the country through militant and terrorist activities.
