HSC and equivalent results likely July 23

The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under the ten education boards will possibly publish across the country on 23 July 2017.

Our source said, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at around 10:30 am. He will formally announce the results at a press conference at his ministry at around 12:30 pm.

The examinees will get their results from the respective centers, websites of their respective boards and mobile phones through sending short message service (sms) after the conference, our source added. 

The result will be also available at http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd/regular/index.php 

This year a total of 11, 83,686 examinees from 8,864 educational institutions appeared the examinations. Of the total candidates, 6, 35,697 are males and 5, 47,989 females. 

A total of 9, 82,783 examinees attended the examinations under eight general education boards and 99,320 attended under the Madrasa board.

Some, 68,697 students under technical institutions appeared in the examinations and 3,673 in DIBS examinations.
