JSC and JDC results published with 83.65 percent pass rate

The results of Junior Secondary Certificate (JSC) and equivalent Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations for the year 2017 have been published today with 83.65 percent pass rate. 

According to results, the success rate is 9.41 percent less than that of 2016.

Meanwhile, the number of GPA-5 has also decreased this year. A total of 1,84,397 candidates achieved GPA-5, which was 2,81,898 in 2016. A total of 7,231 students from JDC secured GPA-5.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her Gono Bhaban residence on Saturday. JSC and JDC students can get their results on http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd/

Besides, student can also get their results via short messaging service (SMS).

To get the JSC result vis SMS, type JSC <SPACE> First three letter of your board name <SPACE> Roll number and send to 16222 .

To get the JDC result vis SMS, type JJC <SPACE> First three letter of your board name <SPACE> Roll number and send to 16222 .

This year, a total of 24, 68,820 eighth graders from 28,628 institutions appeared in the JSC and JDC tests. Of them, 20.90 lakh students sat for the JSC exams and around 3.78 lakh students took the JDC exams.
